Flat Fee MLS Works in Any Market
posted in Flat Fee MLS |It seems that more and more real estate pros are turning to flat fee MLS as a service option to attract buyers:
(source)The fallout from the subprime lending market, and the near-disastrous foreclosure epidemic that resulted, plus fears of a nationwide recession that has buyers playing waiting games, are causing residential brokers to improvise and innovate.
By “improvise and innovate,” what they really mean is to look at options that are out there already that are still working to sell homes – and the option that they are coming up with is flat fee MLS.
With flat fee MLS and allowing home sellers to take advantage of having a multiple service listing entry without the full set of services these brokers offer, brokers are looking for a way to keep their business going. But which would you rather have: a flat fee MLS service that lets you decide what you need to sell your home or an agent or broker that looks at you when you have questions and says, “I thought you wanted to do this on your own,” because you’ve chosen not to use that services?
Flat fee brokers offer the same service regardless of the market and what’s going on with the mortgage industry. If you’re going to sell your home, why not choose a method that’s proven?
