manager Thinking about selling a home? If so, are you considering flat fee MLS?
Some people don’t fully consider flat fee MLS. Maybe it’s because they’ve heard criticisms from seller’s agents. Maybe it’s because they are just unsure of using something that they are unfamiliar with. Others just don’t feel cut out for selling on their own.
In other words, most people who feel uncomfortable with using flat fee MLS feel that way because they’re unfamiliar with the benefits – or they are not familiar enough with brokers that provide the service. The best solution is to do a bit more research, to ask the questions that you have and to get the answers that you need before making a final decision and to really understand all of your selling options.
After all, do you really want to pay a 3% commission to a seller’s agent, basically for listing your home in the same multiple listing service that your home will appear on with flat fee MLS? Do you really want to risk selling on your own without the exposure of the MLS – especially when you can use the MLS and still sell on your own?
